The King’s Speech
I saw The King’s Speech this weekend. My parents saw it last weekend when I went to see Black Swan (by myself so I could enjoy the Natalie/Mila sex scene properly). They loved it so much that Mom wanted to see it again, and Mom never wants to watch movies a second time. She thinks it’s ridiculous that I own so many on DVD because she just doesn’t understand the appeal of watching movies over and over again. But alas, she wanted to see it again so we went. Anyway, it was fantastic. The relationship between Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush was so well done that just seeing them on screen together made me happy. I was rooting for Colin to win the Oscar anyway, but now I can root for him and know (kinda) what I’m talking about.
Okay this was cute. Love the song choice.
